PACE Hosts Panel Discussion on New Refugee Groups May 29

SALISBURY, MD---ÃÛÌÒav’s Institute for Public Affairs and Civic Engagement (PACE) hosts the panel discussion “New Refugee Groups: Health, Human Rights and Migration” 6-8 p.m. Thursday, May 29, in the Guerrieri Student Union’s Wicomico Room.

Panelists include Ali Zohar Shamim, international non-governmental organization consultant; Dr. Adam Lewandowski, former international school teacher in Myanmar; Natalie Saintphard, Wicomico County Human Rights Advisory Committee; Pastor Lher Htoo, Seventh-Day Adventist Church. 

Dr. Arnaud Perret, SU assistant professor of French, moderates the panel.

Admission is free and the public is invited.
