The amount of funding varies depending on the needs of the business and its growth potential as assessed by the angel investors. A typical angel investment ranges from $50,000 to $500,000, though the exact amount will be determined based on a thorough assessment of your business plan and pitch.
For businesses seeking funding, the application process runs on an annual cycle. Prospective applicants are encouraged to submit their initial applications by the end of March. After a thorough review process, selected applicants will be informed of their acceptance into the program by the end of May. Those chosen will move on to pitch directly to our panel of angel investors during a pitch event in June, July, or August. This structured timeline ensures ample preparation and opportunity for businesses to showcase their potential and secure the support they need for growth.
The Mainsail Angel Network is a collaborative group of individual investors, not a pooled investment fund. Each member makes their own independent investment decisions, while benefiting from the group’s shared resources in deal screening, due diligence, and networking.
